Save Our Canyons 2019 Candidate Questionnaire Responses

As a community driven, grassroots organization Save Our Canyons is here to provide information, education and resources to our members and the community at large. As an organization working at many levels of government from federal to state to municipal, we know that engaging and developing working relationships with elected officials is very beneficial in furthering our work to protect the Wasatch Range.

To this end, we have reached out to current candidates to pose questions that relate to the water, land, management and future of the Wasatch Mountains. We encourage you to read each response to help you become better aquainted with the pool of candidates and their perspectives and ideas about the future of the Wasatch Range.

The upcoming 2019 Primary Elections will be held on August 13 and ballot mailing begins on July 23. The General Elections will be held on November 5 and ballot mailing begins on October 15.

We reached out to all candidates and have provided responses un-edited as they were received, some candidates have opted to not respond. If you have questions about the responses, we encourage you to reach out to the candidate.
