Wilderness Stewardship and Education Coordinator

Claire comes from the mountains of Western North Carolina where she got her B.A. in Ecological Forestry from Warren Wilson College. After graduating, she moved to Colorado to work as a Reforestation Analyst and quickly learned the value of protecting both the environment and our public lands. The vast alpine plant diversity of the Rocky Mountains led her to work as a native plant technician in Idaho where she conducted research to conserve and protect the ecosystems of the Great Basin. At the end of her time in Idaho, Claire moved to Northern Utah to be surrounded by the big mountain beauty that is the Wasatch. When Claire is not advocating for the conservation initiatives of Save Our Canyons, she is most likely summiting a peak with her dog, climbing, mountain biking, finding snow, or camping in the mountains.
