Our mission is to preserve the wildness and beauty of the Wasatch Mountains for future generations through policy work, public outreach, and conservation efforts.
Internship Overview:
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about environmental conservation and skilled in multimedia storytelling to gain hands-on experience with a leading Utah-based nonprofit. As a Content Creation Intern, you will help amplify Save Our Canyons' mission by creating engaging content that raises awareness of key conservation issues.
This internship offers exceptional flexibility, allowing you to shape the experience to align with your goals. Our mission is to help you build a strong foundation in storytelling and content creation. We’ll provide ideas and themes as a starting point, empowering you to craft compelling visual pieces that bring your creativity to life.
Responsibilities:
- Capture photos and videos at events, tabling sessions, and local landscapes to showcase our work and Utah’s natural beauty.
- Regularly work with SOC staff members to help develop storytelling content around specific event's of your choosing.
- Collaborate with staff/Engagement Intern to develop content for upcoming projects and events.
- Help maintain an organized media library and archive of created content.
