On the morning of June 10th, 16 volunteers met at the winter gate in Millcreek Canyon for a morning of brushback work along the Bowman Fork Trail, along with garbage cleanup work at the winter gate parking lot, Porter Fork parking lot, and Burch Hollow parking lot.

The group split into two teams, one sticking to the parking areas for garbage, the other venturing up the terraces road to the Bowman Fork Trail. From there, we walked .5 miles up the trail to the start of the overgrown sections and spread out. The trail was in good condition with most of the bulk already removed from years prior, but some sections needed some attention.

The Challenge and the Victory:

We are grateful to everyone who came out, stepped up, and made this event possible. Additionally, we had a few people in attendance who had never been in Millcreek Canyon before, and it was incredible to provide them with the experience to visit their backyard in a new way.
