On July 18th, Save Our Canyons, Wasatch Mountain Club, Kind Minds Club, and our friends at the Pleasant Grove Ranger District met up at the Khyv Peak Overlook near the base of Provo Canyon for a morning cleanup and weed removal project. Over the few hours we were there, a large patch of invasive thistle was successfully removed. We also worked to do a garbage cleanup around the overlook. By the end of our session, the Forest Service Pickup was overflowing with garbage, including large pieces of television sets and furniture, along with the usual findings.
