Central Wasatch Conservation and Recreation discussion at RoHa Brewery

Join Save Our Canyons on Wednesday, February 21 for Wasatch Wednesday from 5 to 7 pm at RoHa Brewery!

The Wasatch Mountains define not only our skyline, but our community. As our communities will undoubtedly change, Save Our Canyons’ mission since its founding in 1972 is to ensure the uniquely natural elements of the Wasatch that define our sense of place and enhance our quality of life are both protected and resilient for generations to come.

Save Our Canyons’ mission is reflected from our partnering to protect Bonanza Flat to being instrumental in fighting to get wilderness designation of the Lone Peak, Twin Peaks, and Mt. Olympus wilderness areas in the Wasatch Front.

To do this we need to empower communities, their collective values, and engage in public discourse to defend the places and creatures who have no voice.

Join Save Our Canyons staff and members for a casual night of discussion about policies that govern the Wasatch Front and Back and learn about the proposed “Central Wasatch Conservation and Recreation Area Act.” For more information about the CWNCRA visit our online story map. Make sure you sign the petition TODAY: goo.gl/Cyi9td.

We look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday, February 21 between 5 and 7 p.m. This is a free event (21+) with 10% of beer sales generously donated by RoHa to Save Our Canyons.
